For macOS, you cannot use the ASIO Driver 2.8.40 or configure it manually. You'll have to do that with the new driver (ASIO Driver 2.8.45). It has the same procedure as other Windows except that you have to execute the executable "installer.app" instead of "installer.exe" file. I will make a tutorial about this in the next release, and the download link will be posted there. In the mean time, please try to download the installer by yourself first. Also, for install, please use the "installer.app" file, and for uninstall, please use the "uninstaller.app" file.
If you are using ASIOPlugUSB2.1, do the following steps to get it to work on Mac OS (from the official Shure website ): 1. Go to the Audio folder of My Computer. 2. Right click on the Plug-ins folder and choose New. 3. Locate "Plug-ins" and create a new folder named "Shure". 4. Copy a folder named Shure Plug-in USB 2.1 for Windows XP into your newly created folder, and name the folder something like "MacOS" or "Cakewalk", as long as it's not already in the folders. 5. Paste the folder you just copied into the new "Shure" folder. 6. Click OK in each box. 7. Now go to Finder and open your "plug-in" folder. 8. Right click on the Shure folder and choose "Open in Finder", and that's it! What this does is simply put the folder in a special folder where Cakewalk recognizes Shure Plug-in USB 2.1 for Windows XP. Now when you open the folder it should automatically recognize the drivers. Make sure to uninstall them from the "Plug-ins" folder when you are done because the Mac will delete them on its own, and you don't want to loose them. 84d34552a1
