This module is a wrapper for js-yaml, which reads & parses YAML files and caches parsed output.

Installation

Using npm:

$ npm install yaml-cache --save

Using yarn:

$ yarn add yaml-cache

Usage

// Load the module.
const yaml = require('yaml-cache')

// Read & Parse a YAML file asynchronously.
yaml
  .load('./sample.yml')
  .then(object => console.log(object))
  .catch(err => console.error(err))

// Read & Parse a YAML file synchronously.
yaml.loadSync('./sample.yml') // [Object]
