bridge cameras are built to be used with a variety of lenses and are for use with a lens holder . a lens holder is a specialized device that is used to change the focal length of the lens so that an image taken with a fixed focal length lens can be cropped to any size. we like the newton lens holder , but others do work fine. on such a camera (such as this kodak camera above) you put the lens on the camera and then attach the lens holder to the camera. the lens holder is held in place by one of the knobs on the side of the lens holder.

bridge cameras tend to be smaller than standard-lens cameras. bridge lenses tend to have a smaller flange (front) to back to camera component (which is the distance between the film plane and the back of the camera). this means there is less room for a rangefinder mechanism (which is a way of finding focus and composition which uses small focusing peephole lenses.)

another interesting thing about bridge cameras is that the lens is designed to be 'distributed' around the lens holder, meaning most of the lens is behind the front of the lens holder (which is held on top of the camera.) this is not the case with standard lens cameras. in standard lens cameras, the lens sits at the rear of the camera.

our most basic internet connection in the united states is dialup. dialup connections are slow to download and usually have a limited bandwidth. however, many business and commercial sites do not accept uploads, so downloading a video from youtube or some other site on the internet is impossible.

the bitrate is the number of bits per second used to store a specific amount of information. it measures the quality of the recording, and the higher the bitrate, the better the audio and visual quality you will hear and see. in general, the higher the bitrate, the larger the file size. the internet speed is measured in megabits per second, while the quality (resolution, bitrate, or size) is measured in megabytes per second. for example, a video recording at a resolution of 1080p and bitrate of 4000 mb/s will take a bit more than 24 mibs/s. in the same example, a video recording at the same bitrate but with a resolution of 720p would only take 3.75 mibs/s. 84d34552a1
