Chia MCP Server

Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for the Chia SDK, enabling AI assistants like Claude to interact with African payment providers.

npm version License: MIT

Standalone by design

The MCP server wraps @chiahq/sdk and talks directly to the provider APIs with your own credentials - no Chia account or platform required. Configure the provider environment variables below and any MCP-capable assistant can operate payments against your own PayChangu, PawaPay, or OneKhusa accounts.

Managed recurring billing without running your own stack is what the optional, separate Chia platform is for.

Supported Providers

  • Unified - Provider-agnostic payment and payout tools that route across whatever is configured (4 tools)
  • PayChangu - Payment services in Malawi (12 tools)
  • PawaPay - Mobile money payments across Sub-Saharan Africa (14 tools)
  • OneKhusa - Enterprise payments in Malawi & Southern Africa (18 tools)
