Custom Sharp Build

Built from: lovell/sharp-libvips

sharp-custom and sharp-libvips-custom (@img-custom) provide prebuilt Sharp binaries with:

• JXL support
• JP2 support
• AV1_HIGHBITDEPTH enabled for 10/12-bit AVIF decoding (Now included in the official lovell/sharp-libvips builds since https://github.com/lovell/sharp-libvips/pull/367)

WASM builds are not available. JXL is not available on linux-s390x, linux-riscv64, and linux-armv6 due to missing Highway SIMD support.

Prefer the official Sharp binaries unless you specifically need these features.

Usage

Add the following overrides to your package.json, making sure the versions match your installed sharp and sharp-libvips dependencies.

npm install

In some cases, you may need to remove node_modules and package-lock.json for the overrides to take effect.

rm -rf node_modules package-lock.json
npm install
