Lotide
A mini clone of the Lodash library.
Purpose
BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.
This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.
Usage
Install it:
npm install @isabeljansi/lotide
Require it:
const _ = require('@isabeljansi/lotide');
Call it:
const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]
Documentation
The following functions are currently implemented:
- countLetters(...): count the letters that are in a string.
- countOnly(...): count only the strings that are present in the array.
- findKey(...): find the key of an object.
- findKeyByValue(...): find the object key by its value.
- head(...): return the first index of an array.
- tail(...): return the elements of an array except for the first element.
- middle(...): return the elements that are in the middle positions of the array.
- map(...): map the first letter of strings in array.
- letterPositions(...): return the positions of the letters of the string.
- takeUntil(...): return the values until a given predicate.
- without(...): return the elements of an array without the given word.
