Release

When shipping new minor or major features, git commit using the appropriate keyword

• MAJOR_RELEASE
• MINOR_RELEASE

git commit -m 'MAJOR_RELEASE: a brief description about the release'

This will increase the MAJOR version number
E.g. version 1.3.1 will become 2.3.1
The keyword <MAJOR OR MINOR>_RELEASE can be placed anywhere in the commit message.
If no <MAJOR OR MINOR>_RELEASE keyword is specified, the PATCH (the last number e.g. 1.3.1) will increase instead.
