cli-ls

npm-version dependencies-status

A simple version of the ls command to replace window's dir command.

Important notes

The "program" isn't finished yet and should not be used at the moment.

Command prompt's aliases might cause some errors, I haven't checked it out yet.

Install & more

Install :

npm i -g cli-ls

You might have to set NodeJS as your default program to run .js files in Windows.

Update :

npm update -g cli-ls

Uninstall :

npm uninstall -g cli-ls

Usage

ls [OPTION]... [FILE]...

Options:

New or changed options are in bold.

-a--allDo not ignore hidden entries and/or entries starting with .
-A--almost-allDo not ignore hidden entries and do not list implied . and ..
-d--debugDisplay some debugging informations and exit
-F--classifyAppend indicator (one of */=>@) to entries
-h--human-readableWith -l and/or -s, print human readable sizes (e.g., 1K 234M 2G)
-l--listUse a long listing format
-m--commaFill width with a comma separated list of entries
-p--indicator-styleUnfinished: Append / indicator to directories
-R--recursiveList subdirectories recursively
--helpDisplay the help and exit
--versionOutput version information and exit
--srcTEMP: folder(s) to list
--show-control-charsTEMP: Used to prevent some aliases errors.

Changes made:

-a & -A: Shows files and folder with the H (hidden) or S (system) flags, which are ignored by default. -F: Only appends (*/@) to files and folders.
