Installation instructions

Install nodejs for your platform from here https://nodejs.org/en/

If you are using Ubuntu (or possibly other linuxes), you’ll need to do this in addition to installing nodejs sudo ln -s "$(which nodejs)" /usr/bin/node

Make sure npm is also installed: For windows, this comes with the nodejs installer For Linux, you may need to install separately – e.g. With sudo apt-get install npm or equivalent

Install the connection loader package Windows: npm install –g connection-loader Linux/OS X: sudo npm install –g connection-loader

Running the scripts

Now you can run it: connection-loader Without any arguments, it will tell you what it needs. Note that the argument must include the http or https and /api on the end A typical run would be: connection-loader https://harmony.mydomain.com/api add connections.csv —user myuser —pass mypassword —ignore 1 The —ignore 1 argument says skip the first 1 line (the header line). You can skip as many as you need

The format of the csv file is shown in the connections.csv file in the repository.

NOTE: very little error checking and testing has been done. use at your own risk.
