create-local-ext-pack

A project creatioin script which configures a bare-bones VS Code extension-pack project.

Usage

yarn create local-ext-pack [target]

Alternatively, using npm:

npx create-local-ext-pack [target]

After answering a few questions about the new pack, navigate to [target] and install the dependencies.

Creating an Extension Pack

The initial project has the following structure:

new-extension-pack/

The package.json file contians:

The vsc-install script

Add extensions by id to the extensionPack array in package.json
