kinisite-cli

The Kinisite CLI provides powerful developer access to the Kinisite site builder.

Pre-requisites

To use the Kinisite CLI you will need to have signed up for an Kinisite account. To register for an account please visit https://oxfordcyber.uk/register/

Installation

The CLI tools should be installed globally on your system using the following command.

npm install -g kinisite-cli

Basic usage

Once installed you can access the Kinisite CLI using the oc command. To list available commands use the following command.

kinisite --help

Authentication

The CLI tools require authentication on a per-machine basis. To authenticate your machine for your account you can issue the following command where you will be prompted for your account email address and password.

kinisite login

and you can de-authorise your machine at any time by issuing

kinisite logout

Available modules

The following CLI modules are currently implemented

Static

The static module provides tools for site developers to manage the source code (theme) for Kinisite web sites. This includes ability to obtain the latest code from the remote service and to push new versions ready for preview online.
