Developed for Windows 11, the Prime CLI leverages Node.js to deliver a robust and efficient command-line experience. Its intuitive commands make it accessible for both beginners and experienced developers, making day-to-day file handling tasks quicker and more straightforward.
Installation
Before you can use the Prime CLI, you'll need to ensure that Node.js is installed on your Windows 11 machine. If you haven't installed Node.js yet, head over to the official Node.js website (https://nodejs.org/) and follow the installation instructions for Windows.
Once you have Node.js set up, follow these steps to install the Prime CLI:
- Open your terminal or command prompt.
- Navigate to the directory where you want to install the Prime CLI.
- Run the following command to install the CLI globally on your system:
npm install -g primetdmcli
After the installation is complete, you can start using the Prime CLI!
Usage
To use the Prime CLI, open your terminal or command prompt and enter prime
. This will display a list of available commands along with their usage instructions.
prime
From there, you can execute any of the commands to perform various file-related operations.
Available Commands
The Prime CLI offers the following commands:
prime add <filename.extension>
: Creates a new file with the specified filename.prime remove <filename.extension>
: Deletes the specified file.prime help
: Displays information about the available commands.prime run <filename.extension>
: Runs the specified file in the terminal.prime download <github_repository_link>
: Downloads the code from the specified GitHub repository.prime info <filename.extension>
: Displays information about the specified file, including its size, last modified date, and permissions.prime move <fileName.extension> <directory>
: Moves a file from one folder to another.prime encrypt <fileName.extension>
: Encrypts a file using Caeser Cypher.prime decrypt <fileName.extension>
: Decrypts a file from Caeser Cypher.prime compare <file1> <file2>
: Compares two files.prime deldir <folderName>
: Deletes the specified directory.prime tree <directoryName>
: Lists all files & folders in a specified directory.prime version
: Shows current version of primetdmcli.prime zip <folderName>
: Compresses a specified folder to a.zip
file.prime upzip <foldername>
: De-compresses a.zip
file.prime replace <fileName> <selectText> <replacementText>
: Replaces all occourances of search text with specified text.
