v1423 applies user-approved, versioned repository contracts for projects governed by v14.23, made by Spark Line.

The updater is local and bounded. It may change only:

• the marker-delimited v1423 section in AGENTS.md;
• approved v1423 fields in v1423.project.json;
• the mcpServers.v1423 entry in .mcp.json for contract v2 and later.

Contract v8 keeps MCP as the only project-context channel and adds explicit on-demand design_authoring guidance for user-facing UI work. The guidance is reviewed advisory Git context, never a file to copy into the project repo. It safely bootstraps markerless v1-v7 installs and preserves the v7 request-scoped context and Later behavior. Contracts v1 through v7 remain explicitly targetable for compatibility.

It does not create commits, push branches, deploy code, or accept credentials. Unknown repository fields and other MCP server entries are preserved.
